Picnic Pavilion Completed at Lake Street Park
In 2025, Community Preservation Act funds were approved o build a picnic pavilion at Lake Street Park next to the pickleball courts. The project was sponsored by the Open Space and Recreation Committee, then carried out under the supervision of the Tisbury DPW.
The DPW asked the Carpentry & Building Trades Career Technical Education (CTE) program at MVRHS to build an open-air pavilion and the results are incredible! The project was led by MVRHS instructor, William Seabourne, On Thursday, May 21, the town hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the project.
Soon the pavilion will be filled with picnic tables for community use.
